ACO Tech, a Proton Group firm that is also jointly owned by Altel and ECARX, today unveiled the Proton Digital Xperience (Proton DX), the nation’s first automotive digital experience hub.

Proton DX is a hub for automobile and technology lovers of all ages to congregate and be immersed in the most recent advancements in the automotive industry. It is situated in the Quill City Mall in the core of Kuala Lumpur. Additionally, it aims to pique the interest of the younger generation in the subject of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by acting as an engaging platform for STEM education.

Proton DX spans 5,275 square feet, housing a blend of interactive technology, leisure, and lifestyle elements to create a unique experiential centre.

The Mitsubishi Motors Mobile Service Unit is a new after-sales service that Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has introduced for its clients. If you’re busy and unable to schedule a regular service appointment, it will send a specially outfitted Mitsubishi Triton to come to you.

A Mitsubishi vehicle diagnostic scanner, a hydraulic jack with stand, an air compressor, and tool kits are all included in the mobile service unit. Additionally, there is space for extra components like lubricants and oil filters.

On June 25, the Central Spine Road (CSR) section that bypasses Raub town will be open to the public.

According to Abdul Rahman Mohamad, deputy works minister, the route entailed taking the interchange exit close to Universiti Teknologi Mara in Raub.

“Construction work is expected to be completed by the end of this year. But I have instructed the public works department to ask the contractor to expedite work to complete it before Aidiladha. This is because more than 500,000 vehicles will pass through the route, especially residents from Kelantan, this coming Hari Raya,” he said.

With a variety of turbo-diesel and Wankel rotary engines installed, the Mercedes-Benz C111 prototypes from the 1960s and 1970s served as test beds for cutting-edge powertrain technologies. Currently, as the automobile industry transitions from internal combustion engines to electric power, Mercedes has introduced the Vision One-Eleven concept, which, like its ancestor, serves as a forecast for how the company will adapt to the changing automotive scene.

The initial C111 prototype, which was painted a striking shade of orange and equipped with dramatic gullwing doors, is clearly where the sleek supercar styling of the Vision One-Eleven got its start. The concept’s single line, shallow curve profile is reminiscent of the cab-forward aerodynamics of Mercedes’s existing EV models, such as the EQS and EQE.

The UK’s automobile owners claim that a Lexus offers the least chance of all things happening. Because of this, the Japanese premium automaker has been awarded as the winner of Most Reliable Car Brand at the 2023 Auto Trader New Car Awards.

It has won the title four times in the past five years, which is based on the opinions and experiences of more than 220,000 UK car owners who participated in Auto Trader’s yearly poll.

Reports have circled the internet about Boustead Holdings Bhd considering divesting its petrol stations in Malaysia, seeking as much as RM2 billion.

Bloomberg stated that the Kuala Lumpur-based conglomerate is working with an adviser to sell Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn., also known as BHPetrol. It is said that oil and gas companies as well as investment firms have shown interest in the deal, asking not to be identified as the process is private.

According to the report by Bloomberg, Boustead’s decision to pursue a sale may still change as discussions continue. Boustead is now delisting, thus the company is entirely focused on adhering to legal regulations and meeting its duties to stakeholders.
