Hyundai develops new Intelligent Air Purification System

Hyundai Motor Group has just announced their latest development for their vehicle’s interior air quality. The Intelligent Air Purification System or ‘Smart Air Purification System’ is an innovative in-car filter that works automatically to provide ‘excellent’ air quality using advanced technology.

Using their latest filtration technology, this new system is able to remove around 99% of fine particulates even before passengers enter the vehicle and throughout the journey. The results have been so positive that the system might make its way to all future Hyundai and Kia models to promote better health in highly congested urban areas. (more…)

Updated 2019 Toyota Avanza launched – From RM80,888

UMW Toyota Sdn Bhd has officially announced their updated 2019 Toyota Avanza which is now on sale at all Toyota showrooms across Malaysia. Three different variants are up for purchase; Avanza 1.5E, 1.5S, and 1.5S+. This also means that the previous 1.5G variant has been discontinued while the 1.5X has been replaced by the 1.5S+. Geely opens EV research centre in Germany

The Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, or more commonly known as Geely, has announced that they have started operations on a new EV research centre based in the heart of Germany. 4,524 bottles of fake engine oil seized in Johor

The fake engine oil epidemic has been an ongoing war within the country and according to a recent report published by Kosmo! Online stated that authorities raided a supplier in Senai, Johor and seized a total of 4,524 bottles of the counterfeit stuff, which is said to be valued at RM45,692.20 in the market. (more…)

More speed cameras to be installed at PLUS Expressway?

Heads up to those who frequent the North-South Expressway (NSE). Deputy Transport Minister, Datuk Kamarudin Jaffar has announced that there will be 11 more Awas speed cameras (Automated Awareness Safety System) to be installed at accident-prone spots on the PLUS Expressway for better safety. (more…)
