Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON), the automotive retail division of DRB-HICOM, has been named an official smart Malaysia dealer by Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (PRO-NET).
Following a signing ceremony with Hap Seng Smart earlier this month and the addition of EON to the smart Malaysia stable, PRO-NET has now hired five additional dealerships. Five more dealership appointments will be made public in the near future.

The BMW 5 Series enters its eighth generation as the G60 and it looks stunning. It’s more dynamic than ever, featuring a wealth of digital innovations. Like all previous model generations, the new BMW 5 Series Sedan is produced at the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing.
Exterior
The dynamic elegance and presence of the new 5 Series Sedan are highlighted by a clean, minimalist design language. The new edition has extended in length by 97 millimetres to 5,060 millimetres, in width by 32 millimetres to 1,900 millimetres, and in height by 36 millimetres to 1,515 millimetres compared to the previous model. Its wheelbase increased to 2,995 millimetres, an increase of 20 millimetres.
An updated rendition of the BMW kidney grille and dual headlights define the new BMW 5 Series Sedan’s front look. Turn signals and daytime driving lights are provided by almost vertically aligned LED components. The far-forward BMW kidney grille has a broad surround and an available BMW Iconic Glow contour lighting system.
A little under seven years after the October 2016 debut of the G30-generation 5 Series, the BMW 5 Series enters its eighth generation as the G60 and is accompanied for the first time by a fully electric range, the G60E i5 sedan.

According to Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, the federal government does not intend to acquire current highway concessionaires in order to eliminate tolls.
This is because such takeovers were not currently possible because of the serious financial consequences. When the country’s financial and fiscal circumstances allow, the government will, however, take another look at such a suggestion.

The Jimny 5-door was initially introduced in India at the Auto Expo 2023 in January and will be launched in June this year. India will be the first market where the 5-door Jimny will go on sale and will also be exported from there.
It is driven by a 1.5-liter K15B engine that generates 105 hp and 134 Nm of torque. Five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions are used to transmit power to all four wheels.
