Among the entrants is the Jaguar TCS Racing team which will enter its new Jaguar I-TYPE 6, the most advanced and most efficient electrically-powered Jaguar racing car ever. We always recommend genuine parts for your vehicle whenever replacements are needed. These are the best parts you can get as they are made for your specific vehicle and have the assurance of quality from the same company that made your vehicle.

If your vehicle is a recent model or up to 10 years old, the authorized service centre will usually still have genuine parts for it in stock. However, as newer models are introduced and parts for them also need to be stocked, stocks of the older ones will be reduced and eventually might not be available. Nevertheless, there are also parts stockists who may have them but be careful of imitations.

For those who own older Nissan models – from as far back as the mid-1980s – there is now a new source for genuine Nissan parts. This is SpareXHub, which we have written about before, an e-commerce platform that specializes in supplying genuine parts for many brands.

Each time Bugatti announces a new model, it is sold out almost immediately. And because only a very small number will be made, it is already a collector’s item. The Centodieci, for example, was so sought after by customers that all 10 units were booked even before being officially revealed.

With the Chiron Profilee, however, it is a different matter: Bugatti has announced it and shown it but is not taking any bookings for the single unit built. This will be a truly one-of-a-kind model which will be put on auction by RM Sotheby’s on February 1, 2023, with a percentage of the proceeds going to benefit charitable causes.

While cars of the premium luxury brands already possess a measure of exclusivity, there are customers who want to make their car even more special, more personalized. After all, they are already paying a lot so why not go a bit further and make the car truly unique? The carmakers understand this and have divisions to cater for personalization and conversion requests of almost any nature as long as it does not affect safety.

Maserati, for example, has its Fuoriserie personalization program that allows a customer to make his or her vehicle one-of-a-kind. However, the personalization is typically related to materials and accessories which the carmaker may already have or which can be specifically fabricated. And, of course, there are colour choices that are ‘infinite’ and limited only by imagination.

The bodywork is often not changed much to maintain the original design and this is where specialists like Mansory provide customization that can give a sportier or bolder appearance. The latest example of the German company’s offering is for the Maserati MC20 where they can carry out a full conversion to a Mansory First Edition.

Although CUPRA is today established as the high-performance brand of SEAT, it began as the Special Vehicles department of the Spanish carmaker in 1971. Its main function was to develop and support SEAT’s participation in rallies and touring championships.

In 2018, the name was used as an independent brand with its own line of models focussed on performance and having a more specialised nature, besides individual styling. Its models share technical elements with SEAT models which are also shared within the Volkswagen Group that SEAT is part of.

With its high-performance DNA, CUPRA is naturally a candidate for the virtual world of simulator racing as well. Apart from having its own sim racing series, it is now also on Xbox Game Studios’ and Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 5 with a new all-electric concept racing car.
