BMW has just introduced the all-new BMW 1 Series which is said to have completely rebuilt from the ground up. The biggest change is the shift towards its new front-wheel-drive platform for the first time since its inception back in 2004.
So, why front-wheel-drive? The BMW 1 Series is known for being a practical machine and for BMW to raise the bar on providing more interior space and improved practicality, the move towards FWD seems appropriate for the third generation. (more…)
