Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) has established a one-stop centre (OSC) to manage the disposal of abandoned automobiles.

As reported by The Star, cars, motorcycles, and bicycles were among the vehicles that citizens might turn in, according to MPAJ president Dr Ani Ahmad.

Applications are handled free of charge and within 48 hours, following which MPAJ will pick up the vehicle. To manage all the paperwork, the local council will collaborate with the Road Transport Department and MyEG Sdn Bhd.

Booked a Perodua Alza or want to book one? Well, you will have to wait in line just like everyone else. Most of those who booked the Alza last year still have not received their cars.

The new multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Perodua Alza is still the brand’s model with the longest waiting period, which may go up to more than 13 months, according to an internal document published in January of this year.

Between January and June of this year, Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) received 8,547 complaints, of which 922 were complaints about obstacles in parking spaces and walkways for pedestrians.

According to The Star, the problem, stated by Petaling Jaya mayor Mohamad Azhan Md Amir, stems from irresponsible company owners who block parking spaces with objects like cement bollards and traffic cones.

To address this issue, the enforcers periodically seize the products and issue appropriate compound notifications.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) made the announcement yesterday that beginning on Sunday, July 30, ticket sales would be available on the 30th of every month throughout the year.

According to Bernama, the announcement stated that sales of tickets are now ongoing until December 31, 2023. Beginning on July 30, consumers can purchase tickets for travel until January 2024 under this new system of ticket sales. It will be accessible for travel until February 2024 starting next month, on August 30, 2023.

The new idea, according to KTMB, would enable commuters to plan their trips six months in advance for vacations or “balik kampung,” particularly for public holidays and significant festivals.

The notification stated that ticket sales will start at noon for Electric Train Service (ETS) and KTM Intercity travel and at 10 am for Shuttle Tebrau services. Purchases of tickets may be done via the KTMB website or the KITS mobile application, according to KTMB.

A lightweight carbon fibre hybrid wheel option will be offered by Hyundai’s high-performance N division for its models.

The Ioniq 5 N‘s new Hyundai N Performance parts were displayed at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed with a 21-inch prototype version of this wheel that Dymag and Hankuk Carbon had collaboratively produced. Since the 1970s, Dymag has produced lightweight performance wheels, and more recently, with assistance from composites partner Hankuk, it has moved into producing carbon fibre wheels.

Nearly every aspect of the new Cooper has already been revealed by Mini, but the official full unveiling won’t happen until later this year. Now, Mini has released further information and images of the hatchback’s interior, which will have new tricks for the technology’s audio and visual components.

The 9.44-inch-diameter circular OLED display that sits in the centre of the dashboard appears to be Mini’s particular source of pride. It claims that this is the first display of this size on the market to use OLED technology, and more significantly, that it will debut on the next Mini models running the Mini Operating System 9. This is the most recent iteration of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP)-based infotainment system used by the BMW Group.
