Chery Partners With Inokom For Local Assembly

Inokom Corporation Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Malaysian-based Sime Darby Motors and Chery Malaysia have officially joined forces for local assembly at the latter’s 200-acre manufacturing plant in Kulim, Kedah.

“We are very excited to be partnering with Inokom. With nearly three decades of experience in assembling vehicles of many world-renowned brands, Inokom is an ideal partner for Chery in our mission to take root in Malaysia and provide Malaysian consumers with high-technology and high-quality vehicles that are ahead of the curve in terms of design,” said Chery Malaysia Country Director Mr Leo Chen.

The Neta V, Smart EV, will be sold in Malaysia for RM99,800 on the road without insurance, according to Intro Synergy Sdn. Bhd, the company’s sole distributor in Malaysia. Yes, it’s currently the cheapest EV available in Malaysia.

Those who make bookings via Neta’s website will receive a cash voucher worth RM10,000. Yes, it just became cheaper. But this special package is only for the first 100 customers.

Future-Gen Electric Myvi In The Making?

National automaker Perodua has provided a glimpse of how its all-electric path might develop in the future by showcasing that vision through its Electric Motion Online (EMO) concept.

The EMO, an electric hatchback visualisation that made its premiere at the Malaysia Autoshow today, isn’t a full-sized study as you might assume; instead, it’s a 1:6 scale model that offers an exterior design perspective exploring an electrified future.

First-Ever BMW i4 M50 Unveiled In Malaysia – From RM430,210

At the Malaysia Autoshow 2023, BMW Malaysia unveiled the first-ever BMW i4 M50.

The first all-electric BMW M was first previewed in conjunction with BMW’s famous motorsports division’s 50th anniversary last year, is destined to increase the benchmark for purely electric driving performance in Malaysia.

The BMW M 50 Years Emblems will be standard on the first-ever BMW i4 M50. The car’s athletic personality is underlined by standard equipment elements such as the M Aerodynamics package, M rear spoiler in body colour, and black rear diffuser insert.
