Would you want a self-driving Ferrari? We wouldn’t. No matter how developed the technology is for autonomous driving, we would never want it in a supercar or hypercar. It can remain in Teslas but a self-driving Ferrari is just utter rubbish.

Ferrari has a long history of producing supercars that people desire to drive, making it the most well-known supercar company in the world. According to The Drive, Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari, was forthright about the automaker’s position on autonomous vehicles (AVs).

Tesla has introduced a high-performance RM88,830 ‘Track Package’ for its Model S Plaid sedan, enabling it to reach the promised 322 km/h when it was first unveiled two years ago.

Although Tesla claims the ‘standard’ Model S Plaid’s three electric motors can produce up to 1019 horsepower and 1424 Nm, good for a predicted top speed of 322km/h, it has been speed-limited at 262km/h when it debuted in the US in 2021, and later to 282km/h.

The time has come for the Mercedes-Benz CLS to rest. According to Car and Driver, the coupe-like sedan’s production will come to an end on August 31.

Currently, Mercedes has no plans to replace the current-generation CLS after the end of production in August, thus 2023 will be its final model year. Even if the CLS got a minor redesign as recently as 2022, the timeframe of the CLS’s premature end coincides with the E-class sedan’s preparation for a new generation.

Malaysia’s first Das WeltAuto (DWA) independent dealership was officially opened today by Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) and its dealer partner, MHV Autohaus. DWA Gombak has a total land area of 18,500 square feet and contains two additional parking bays for automobile delivery in addition to space for up to 55 vehicles. This makes it Malaysia’s largest Das WeltAuto standalone dealership.

The Gombak dealership is handled by MHV Autohaus, one of Volkswagen’s top dealers in Malaysia. By winning the Best Volkswagen Dealer of the Year Award from 2017 to 2020 in a row, MHV Autohaus has amassed numerous honours throughout the years in Malaysia. This prize honours dealer partners that provide exceptional customer service throughout the whole sales and after-sales process.

Despite having been affiliated for the past 15 years, Ferrari and Naza’s relationship officially ended in March 2023.

In a statement confirming the termination, the Naza Automotive Group said that it had been examining the brand mix of its automotive business to determine whether it was the best fit for its business plan. According to the statement, “We have agreed to end our relationship with Ferrari S.p.A due to the non-alignment of their expectations to our strategy.” Ferrari was assured of help for a successful business transition.
