Ford SuperVan Set To Compete In Pikes Peak Hill Climb

The all-new enhanced Ford SuperVan 4.2 is Ford Performance’s thrilling entry for the 101st running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, presented by Gran Turismo.

The event will highlight the innovative design, cutting-edge technologies, and distinctive features of the refined all-electric demonstrator that enhance its performance for the demanding hill climb.

Ford automobiles have constantly left their imprint on the renowned Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, with a history that dates back to the first race, which was completed in a Ford Model T, in 1916.

2024 Toyota Supra And GR86 Get Major Throwback Editions: What You Need To Know

The 86 and the Supra are not entirely new models. Both can trace their roots back to the 70s and have enjoyed periodical revivals that seem to have cemented their legendary status.

The modern interpretations of both the 86 and the Supra are in no way slouches either. And so to celebrate their history, Toyota has created what it calls “Throwback Editions”. This is a nod to the design of days past – of course as far as the 86 and the Supra are concerned, the Throwback is more about design than anything else but there are a couple of performance upgrades sprinkled in for good measure. The GR86 Trueno Edition

The Toyota GR86 Trueno Edition is an obvious and direct homage to the AE86. As a result, it offers much more than simply glitzy graphics to keep the drifting fun going. Regular GR86 purchasers should anticipate several enhancements and other options as well.

Behind The Curved Wings Of The Boeing 787 Dreamliner

One of the Boeing 787’s most appealing features to its operators is its extremely expandable operational range.

The Dreamliner’s range varies slightly across its three models. The figures, according to Boeing, are as follows:

787-8 – 7,305 NM (13,530 km)
787-9 – 7,530 NM (13,950 km) (Dreamliner)
787-10 – 6,345 NM (11,750 km)

These figures are the product of significant research and development by the American manufacturer, which resulted in an array of fuel-saving features. One of these fuel-saving features is the aircraft’s eye-catching, and arguably beautiful – curving wing shape.

Want F1 Fuel For Your Car? It Will Cost You RM17,000 Per Tank!

In this article, we shed light on the nature of the fuel used in Formula 1 and how it differs from regular fuel. No matter what some brands may claim, the fuel used in Formula 1 cars is in no way similar to the ones used in Formula 1 cars.

The first and most obvious point is that F1 fuel is designed to give the race cars more power on the track, therefore, is very different from what’s used in regular road cars.

F1 cars use fuel which is specially designed for them so you cannot get it at a petrol station, no you can’t even get anything remotely close to F1 fuel. It has properties for race car engines to make sure that those engines work as efficiently as possible at a very high RPM or revs per minute that they operate.

Ford Files Patent For Roof-mounted Spare Battery For EVs

With quicker charging times and greater ranges, electric vehicles (EV) have come a long way. Despite this, some customers still experience range anxiety, which is understandable. When travelling, you wouldn’t want to run out of power.

Ford recently came up with a concept to allay any worries about running out of charge. The American manufacturer recently submitted a patent application for an electric vehicle spare battery system located on the roof of your car.

All-New Toyota Innova Zenix Launched – Starts from RM165,000

The popular Innova line, which was initially one of the models created under the Innovative International Multi-Purpose Vehicle (IMV) programme, is enhanced by the brand-new Toyota Innova Zenix, an all-new MPV.

The designers abandoned the previous IMV strategy used for the Innova in favour of a completely new design that is still part of the Innova family but bears the moniker “Zenix” to differentiate it as the flagship model.

It will be available in two versions:

Innova Zenix 2.0 V (8-seater) with a 2-litre Dynamic Force petrol engine and CVT
Innova Zenix 2.0 HEV (7-seater) with a Toyota Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) drivetrain

Exterior

The all-new Zenix is more spacious although its dimensions are not much different from the previous model – the Innova CG. The new Innova Zenix offers 20 mm more length and 15 mm more width, 100 mm extra length in the wheelbase, and a similar overall height.
