The recall covers 36,678 units of Honda Civic and CR-V models, 4,245 units of the Kia Sorento XM, 288 units of the Ford Everest, 168 units of the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT, 18 units of the Mercedes-Benz AMG and S 580 e, as well as 291 MAN TGS trucks of various models. A complete list of affected models and production years has been made available on JPJ’s official Facebook page.
Owners of the affected vehicles will be contacted by their respective manufacturers to arrange for an inspection. JPJ has urged all vehicle owners to respond promptly to the recall to ensure the inspection process is completed as soon as possible.
Defective components, if identified, will be replaced free of charge, with all costs covered by the manufacturers. JPJ has assured that it will closely oversee the recall process to ensure compliance and confirm that all affected vehicles are safe for use.
