Chery Holding has achieved a remarkable milestone in 2024, setting a new historical record with an annual sales volume of 2,603,916 vehicles. For the first time, the company’s annual revenue reached an impressive 480 billion RMB (around RM302.4 billion), reflecting its robust performance and continued growth in the global automotive market.
The company’s exports played a significant role in its success, with 1,144,588 vehicles exported in 2024, marking a year-on-year increase of 21.4%. This solidifies Chery’s position as a major player in the international automotive industry. Additionally, Chery’s new energy vehicle (NEV) segment saw exceptional growth, with annual sales reaching 583,569 units—a staggering year-on-year increase of 232.7%.
Breaking down the performance by brand, Chery itself reported a sales volume of 1,611,374 units, a 31.1% increase compared to the previous year. Exeed, Chery’s premium brand, recorded an annual sales volume of 140,959 units, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 12.3%. Jetour, another of Chery’s brands, showcased an impressive 80.3% increase in sales, achieving a total of 568,387 units.
Emerging brands under Chery Holding also contributed to the record-breaking year. iCAR reported cumulative sales of 65,964 units in 2024, while Luxeed achieved a total sales volume of 57,956 units, underscoring the growing appeal of Chery’s diversified offerings.
Chery’s strong performance in exports and its significant advancements in the NEV market highlight its strategic focus on innovation and global expansion. The company’s record-breaking achievements underscore its position as a leader in the automotive sector, with a clear trajectory of continued growth and success in the years to come.
