You Can Now Own the Batmobile from the Dark Knight Trilogy for Three Million Dollars

Wayne Enterprises has joined forces with Action Vehicle Engineering to create a limited series of 10 Batmobile Tumblers, meticulously crafted replicas of the model featured in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. These life-sized, fully drivable Tumblers—while not street-legal—are officially sanctioned by Warner Bros., offering a chance for select enthusiasts to own a piece of Batman’s iconic collection.

Each Tumbler will be sold by invitation only, with an estimated 15-month build time from initial deposit to delivery. Powered by a 6.2-litre LS3 V-8 engine producing 525hp and paired with a 4L85E paddle shift transmission, the Tumbler promises impressive performance capabilities. While not equipped with all the functional gadgets of Batman’s original, it does feature a smokescreen delivery system and mock gun turrets on its exterior, crafted from Kevlar, carbon fibre, and fibreglass.

The Batmobile’s journey from comic book pages to real-world fame began with its official introduction in Detective Comics #48 in February 1941, evolving over decades as a symbol of Batman’s gritty style. In a fitting tribute, Wayne Enterprises—Batman’s fictional corporate empire—has taken on the challenge of bringing this legendary vehicle to life.

In collaboration with DC Comics and Warner Bros., Wayne Enterprises curates elements from Bruce Wayne’s opulent lifestyle, from tech and art to fashion, all displayed on its website and exclusive live events held in a hidden, seven-story Manhattan townhouse. While current legal restrictions mean owners won’t be taking the Tumbler on public roads, that’s unlikely to deter fans from seeking out one of these rare 10 builds.

However, this piece of Batman’s arsenal comes at a high cost. Each Tumbler is priced at $3 million, making it a true collector’s item worthy of Gotham’s billionaire crime-fighter.
