WTCA Expands GAC GS3 Emzoom Range in Malaysia with Standard and Exclusive CKD Models

WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), a subsidiary of Warisan TC Holdings Bhd, has officially expanded its 2024 GAC GS3 Emzoom line-up in Malaysia, introducing two new locally assembled variants: the GS3 Emzoom Standard and GS3 Emzoom Exclusive. This completes the localisation project for this B-segment SUV, which was initially launched as a fully imported (CBU) model in April 2024. The locally-assembled variants join the range-topping GS3 Emzoom Premium R.

All three variants of the 2024 GAC GS3 Emzoom are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 177PS and 270Nm of torque, delivered via a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7WDCT). The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds and boasts an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) certification, with a fuel consumption of just 5.9 litres per 100 km.

Exterior and Interior Features:

All variants feature bold design elements such as the Mecha Wing grille, Laser Eye Split LED headlights, and electric hidden door handles.
The GS3 Emzoom Premium R stands out with an R-Style Sport Package and R-Style Exhaust, adding a sporty touch.
Inside, the cabin adopts a blue-and-black color scheme and offers the longest-in-class 2,650 mm wheelbase, ensuring segment-leading space and comfort.
Technology includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android mirroring, and advanced safety features like Blind Spot Vision (BSV).

The Premium R variant offers additional luxury features such as a panoramic sunroof, Fusion Automatic Parking Assist, multi-colour ambient lighting, and a hands-free power tailgate.

GS3 Emzoom Exclusive: RM116,800
GS3 Emzoom Premium R: RM126,800

All variants come with a five-year, 150,000 km warranty. Additionally, the first 2,000 customers benefit from a seven-year, 180,000 km engine and transmission warranty.

To celebrate its first CKD project, WTCA has launched the “Rev Up with Emzoom” campaign, offering cash rebates of up to RM7,000 for certain variants, valid until 31 December 2024.
