BMW Malaysia Showcases Latest Generation 5 Series – 520i M Sport and i5 eDrive40 M Sport

BMW Group Malaysia recently showcased its latest-generation BMW 5 Series at the SKY5PACE event in Kuala Lumpur, highlighting the brand’s legacy and innovations in the premium executive sedan segment. The event featured both the locally assembled BMW 520i M Sport and the fully electric BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport, underscoring BMW’s commitment to Malaysia and its future mobility.

Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, emphasised the significance of the BMW 5 Series, which has been a global leader in the premium sedan market since 1972. He also highlighted BMW Group Malaysia’s role as the largest assembler and exporter of premium vehicles in the region, with over 10,000 vehicles exported since 2018.

BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport

The locally assembled BMW 520i M Sport continues the brand’s tradition of blending sportiness and style. It represents BMW’s confidence in Malaysia’s economic growth and assembly capabilities, supporting regional distribution and operations.

On the electrification front, the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport with optional M Performance Parts showcased advanced features for electric mobility, including a long electric range, enhanced charging capabilities, and personalised options for customers. The i5 embodies BMW’s vision of the future, blending dynamic performance with sustainability.

BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia also provides flexible financing options for both models, making premium vehicle ownership more accessible. The BMW 520i M Sport can be owned with monthly instalments starting from RM3,824 under the Easy Drive plan, while the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport starts from RM4,492.

Both models come with BMW’s complete premium ownership experience, which includes roadside assistance, service support, and extended warranties, enhancing the overall customer journey.

i5 eDrive40 M Sport

The pricing for the BMW 520i M Sport is set at RM349,800 without insurance, with an optional add-on of RM26,900 for the 5-Year Extended Warranty and Service Package. Meanwhile, the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport is priced at RM399,800 without insurance, and customers can opt for the same warranty and service package at an additional cost of RM20,300.
