Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has introduced the locally assembled GLC 350 e 4MATIC, a plug-in hybrid variant of the popular luxury SUV. Assembled at their plant in Pekan, Pahang, this latest offering reinforces Mercedes-Benz’s leadership in the luxury SUV market by combining electric efficiency with outstanding performance.
Nadia Trimmel, Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia, described the new model as a versatile vehicle that delivers the best of both worlds. “The new Mercedes-Benz GLC 350 e 4MATIC offers customers the seamless performance and reliability of a combustion engine paired with the efficiency and quiet comfort of electric driving,” she said. With a range of up to 131km in electric mode (WLTP), the vehicle offers an ideal solution for both urban and long-distance journeys.
Efficient Powertrain with Over 100 km Electric Range
The GLC 350 e 4MATIC comes equipped with a 1,999 cc four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 204hp and 320Nm of torque, paired with an electric motor generating 100kW and 440Nm of torque. Combined, the system delivers 313hp and 550Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 218km/h.
The plug-in hybrid is powered by a high-voltage 25.4 kWh battery, and with the standard-fit 11 kW charger, drivers can conveniently recharge at home or at public stations. A mode 2 charging cable is also included, enhancing charging flexibility.
Cutting-Edge Safety and Assistance Features
The GLC 350 e 4MATIC boasts an array of advanced safety features, including the Driving Assistance Package Plus. This includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Stop-and-Go Assist, Active Steering Assist, and enhanced Active Brake Assist with vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian detection. These features ensure optimal safety and driving convenience in various conditions.
Bold Exterior and Luxurious Interior
Sporting the AMG Line design, the GLC 350 e 4MATIC stands out with its stylish AMG front and rear aprons, a Panoramic sliding sunroof, and 20-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels. Its exterior is further enhanced by the DIGITAL LIGHT system and signature Mercedes-Benz grille.
Inside, the SUV is fitted with black ARTICO leather upholstery, AMG sports pedals, and a multifunction sports steering wheel in nappa leather. The MBUX infotainment system, featuring Augmented Reality navigation, and a Burmester 3D surround sound system ensure a premium in-car experience. With a spacious 490-litre luggage capacity and advanced parking assistance systems, the GLC offers practicality alongside luxury.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC 350 e 4MATIC is priced at RM 398,888 in Peninsular Malaysia, excluding insurance.
