Jaecoo J7 Available to the Public for Test Drives

To offer enthusiasts a glimpse into a premium urban lifestyle experience, Jaecoo Malaysia has partnered with BÖN Estates, a boutique property developer based in Malaysia.

Since the commencement of the J7 public test drives on May 9, the collaboration has seen a significant turnout from both potential SUV enthusiasts and homeowners. Over the span of just four days, nearly 2,000 visitors have flocked to the BÖN Estates Gallery in Bangsar, with more than 470 test drives conducted during the same period.

Both the J7 all-wheel drive (AWD) and two-wheel drive (2WD) variants were available for public test drives at the BÖN Estates Gallery. Set against the backdrop of BÖN Estates’ signature living spaces, which seamlessly blend natural elements with modern technology, the sophisticated design of the J7 perfectly complemented the premium ambience. Striking features such as the J7’s hexagonal vertical waterfall grille, 19-inch “Aurora-inspired” alloy wheels, and a split lighting system that creates a near-natural daylight effect elicited awe and curiosity among visitors.

Other notable features of the J7 AWD and 2WD that captured guests’ interest included the SUV’s Intelligent Technology Cabin, accessible via a 14.8-inch Central Display, which houses navigation controls. Creature comforts such as a 540-degree camera, 50W Air-cooled Wireless Charger, SONY Surround Sound System, and Apple Car Play and Android Auto further enhanced the J7’s appeal.

Behind the wheel, guests experienced the superior engine performance of the J7 firsthand. They were introduced to the J7 AWD’s adaptive controls with seven different driving modes designed to tackle all-road conditions while delivering best-in-class fuel efficiency and superior acceleration with a consumption of 7.48L/100KM. Emphasizing passenger safety, the J7 showcased the design and technology behind its global 5-star security and safety standard during the test drives.

The J7 AWD is estimated at RM160,000, while the J7 2WD is estimated at RM150,000.
