The inaugural Off The Grid (OTG) event, held at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS) from February 23 to 25, 2024, proved to be a resounding success, drawing over 30,000 outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts. Organised by the Art of Speed team, the event celebrated all things related to outdoor living, attracting a diverse crowd of visitors eager to explore the latest trends and offerings in the outdoor lifestyle scene.
The success of OTG was made possible through the support of various vendors, including well-known names such as Montanic Adventure Store, Anbot Store, CampGuru, Eiger Adventure, Pahlawan Store, and Outside Malaysia, among others. These vendors contributed to the vibrant atmosphere of the event, offering a wide range of products and experiences tailored to outdoor enthusiasts’ interests.
One of the highlights of OTG 2024 was its diverse lineup of activities, catering to attendees of all ages and interests. From the Brew Festa and BBQ Showdown by MeatXpert Premium Butcher to the Makers Jamboree & Pasor Dinda Ladies Market, attendees had the opportunity to indulge in delicious food, shop for unique crafts, and enjoy live performances throughout the event.
The vehicular element of OTG, a familiar feature for Art of Speed fans, was also well-represented, with exhibitors like TJM 4×4, Titan Suspension, and NoEqual & Kuzig showcasing their latest offerings in off-road and adventure vehicles. Additionally, visitors had the chance to explore displays of 4×4, 6×6, off-road vehicles, and adventure motorcycles, as well as participate in off-road suspension exhibitions and rooftop tent displays.
A unique aspect of OTG 2024 was the Best Booth Competition, which recognised outstanding booth designs and displays. Montanic Adventure Store and Eiger Adventure were awarded the titles of Best Booth and Best Display, respectively, earning them a trip to the FIELDSTYLE Jamboree 2024 in Nagoya, Japan.
