Ford Malaysia, in collaboration with Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), is set to launch a unique automotive podcast series titled “Ford Malaysia: Built for Life.” This pioneering podcast, available on Spotify starting January 28, 2024, distinguishes itself by transcending traditional automotive narratives, focusing on the human aspect of the Ford Ranger lifestyle.
Unlike conventional content centred on technical specifications, the “Ford Malaysia: Built for Life” podcast adopts an engaging storytelling format. Through heartfelt anecdotes, interviews, and shared experiences, the podcast explores the stories and journeys of Ford Ranger owners and the vibrant Ranger community, showcasing the iconic truck’s role as a companion in work, family, and leisure.
Hosted by JJ Fernandez, the debut season comprises six episodes, each featuring a unique story. Episodes delve into various aspects, including the Malaysia Ford Ranger Club, experiences of new Next-Gen Ranger owners, insights from local motorsports expert Adian Yein, and discussions with social media personality Namie and veteran motoring journalist Hezeri Samsuri. The series also features a special episode with an expert from Ford Performance, offering insights into the design and development of the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor.
The “Ford Malaysia: Built for Life” podcast aims to provide Ranger owners and car enthusiasts with exclusive insights, tips, and stories that go beyond conventional platforms and social channels. Episodes will be released weekly on Sundays for six weeks starting January 28, 2024.
