With four distinct emotions, it leverages generative AI and proactive intelligence to enhance life’s convenience and comfort. The integration of MB.OS and advanced 3D game-engine graphics extend to MBUX Surround Navigation, seamlessly merging route guidance and assistance for an unparalleled driving experience.
North American Premiere – Concept CLA Class
Making its North American debut at CES 2024, the Concept CLA Class takes centre stage as the first Mercedes-Benz model featuring MB.OS. Designed on the innovative Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA), this electric hypermiler boasts a predicted single-charge range of over 749km and energy consumption around 12 kWh/100 km. The Concept CLA Class introduces the new electric drive unit (MB.EDU) with an 800-volt architecture, enabling high-power 300+ kW DC charging. Four models based on the MMA are in the pipeline, including a four-door coupé, a shooting brake, and two SUVs.

Mercedes-Benz is redefining in-car entertainment through groundbreaking collaborations. The collaboration with American entrepreneur will.i.am gives birth to MBUX Sound Drive, a technology that transforms music in sync with the car’s driving style, providing a dynamic musical journey. Additionally, the collaboration with Audible and Amazon Music introduces a new era of immersive audio, turning the car into a rolling concert hall.
Gaming Hub on Wheels
Mercedes-Benz announces new platforms and partnerships at CES, enhancing its in-car gaming service. Collaborating with Antstream Arcade, the world’s first retro games streaming service, Mercedes-Benz integrates cloud gaming into the car. The CES stage also showcases a futuristic runner game in the current E-Class, combining MBUX computing power, interior vehicle sensors, and actuators.
Milestone Achieved with Drive Pilot
Mercedes-Benz marks a significant milestone by launching Drive Pilot, the first and only certified system for conditionally automated driving (SAE Level 3) in the U.S. Initially available in California and Nevada, Drive Pilot is set to debut in MY2024 EQS saloon and S-Class models, offering a groundbreaking leap in automated driving technology.
