The highly anticipated small SUV, the all-new Winsome Runabout Vehicle (WR-V), is now available for booking at all 101 Honda Malaysia dealerships nationwide.
It is set out to compete with the Perodua Ativa. According to the company’s website, the small SUV will be powered by a 1.5-litre DOHC naturally-aspirated engine shared with the City and City Hatchback, producing 121 PS/145 Nm and mated to a CVT automatic gearbox.
The WRV will be offered in an RS edition with a freshly designed RS logo, a distinctive front grille, and 17″ dual-tone alloy wheels. Its sleek and sporty appearance is complemented by coupé-shaped rear door handles, lending it an edgy appeal.
A power retractable door mirror, auto LED headlights and LED daytime running lights (DRL), as well as LED front fog lights and LED sequential turn signals, are also standard on the all-new WR-V.
Honda Malaysia prioritises safety, which is why the All-New WR-V is equipped with Honda Sensing, a comprehensive and advanced safety system that includes eight safety functions, including:
- Lead Car Departure Notification
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Collision Mitigation Braking System
- Forward Collision Warning
- Lane Keep Assist System
- Road Departure Mitigation
- Lane Departure Warning
- Auto High Beam
Furthermore, Honda LaneWatch and Honda Connect give customers more confidence, convenience, and access to a variety of services via their mobile devices.
In the run-up to the launch, Honda Malaysia will host exclusive previews at select dealerships, allowing customers to be among the first in Malaysia to get a close look at the all-new WR-V.
