Minsoon has been one of the longest authorised Mercedes-Benz dealers in Malaysia, having begun its association with the German brand as far back as 1968. Just as the brand has evolved and moved upwards, so too has Minsoon and the new Minsoon Star Autohaus in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, reflects this.
Officially opened today, the dealership’s new location at Seremban 2 has closer proximity to the existing and potential affluent residents of the town as well as those in new townships in the area. Additionally, the Autohaus is situated close to the North-South Expressway, so it is also easily accessible by Mercedes-Benz owners who may be passing by.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Jim Tan, Dealer Principal of Minsoon Star Sdn Bhd, said: “Seremban has a growing population and township that is booming with affluent communities, and we believe that this is the right location for us to further cater to our customers in this region. We are the only authorised Mercedes-Benz Sales and Service dealer in Negeri Sembilan since 1968 and we are proud to have our new Autohaus to showcase the brand’s latest luxury retail presence for our customers.”
The new Autohaus, which Minsoon has invested over RM20 million in, covers 136,070 sq. ft. of land, of which about 10% is for the showroom which can display up to 10 models. Visitors can relax in the Star Lounge and also purchase Mercedes-Benz accessories at the lifestyle boutique.
Besides offering the latest Mercedes-Benz models, Minsoon Star also has Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles on offer within the compound. All vehicles under the Mercedes-Benz Certified brand fulfil strict technical standards where each vehicle has undergone a comprehensive inspection. The vehicles are not older than 6 years and have less than 125,000 kms, with no identifiable structural damage. Service records are verified to confirm that the vehicle has been fully serviced and maintained by authorized dealers.
In view of the increasing number of Mercedes-Benz EQ electrified models going on sale, Minsoon Star has also set up a fast-charger at its premises. This will be useful to owners of electric vehicles who are travelling along the North-South Expressway.
The Autohaus is a 3S outlet (to be upgraded to 4S in 2023) so it also has an integrated service centre which occupies almost a third of the total built-up area. Trained technicians can handle up to 700 vehicles a month and for the convenience of owners, there’s Express Service 2.0, door-to-door and drop-and-go service booking. Minsoon Star also provides 24-hour roadside and emergency assistance to Mercedes-Benz owners.
