Malaysia just witnessed the launch of the new 2019 Isuzu D-Max and it looks like the manufacturer is getting more recognition for its versatile pick up truck. This time, it’s in the UK where it was awarded its second consecutive award for the ‘Pick Up of the Year’ at the Commercial Fleet Awards.
Over 600 guests and attendees witnessed the Isuzu D-Max lifting the crown again where it was judged based on several criteria including payload, safety, technology, running costs, fuel efficiency, reliability and aftersales service. With strong rivals bringing their game for 2019, it’s a great achievement for Isuzu and it’s especially sweeter for winning it twice in a row now.
According to Christopher Macgowan, OBE, former Chief Executive of the SMMT and Chairman of the judging panel, “We are absolutely delighted that the Isuzu D-Max has won this award for a second time. The fleet industry is extremely demanding on its vehicles, so it is fantastic to know that the truck delivers exactly what is required.”
