Dodge//SRT is going all out for their 2020 Dodge Charger line-up with the introduction of eight different variants for the US market. With the new line-up, the American-built performance sedan manufacturer offers something for everyone looking for the right balance in a powerful sedan.
Starting from the base Dodge Charger SXT RWD which is powered by a 300hp 3.6-litre Pentastar V-6 engine, the performance goes all the way up to the super massive 6.2-litre HEMI Hellcat V-8 engine for the Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody that produces 707hp and over 880Nm of torque.
According to Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America, “With 707 horsepower, a 0-60 time of 3.6 seconds, .96 g on the skid pad and a suggested starting price less than $70k, the new 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody is a unicorn in the performance sedan segment. Nowhere but Dodge can you find a sedan with the power and performance per dollar across the entire Charger line-up.”
The model that had us going ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ is the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody, which maintains its status as the most powerful and fastest mass-produced sedan in the world. 0-100km/h is completed in just 3.6 seconds, and is able to reach a top speed of 315km/h.
