The world of pickup trucks in the US market is so diverse, we get jealous every time they released a new model or variant. This is even more so when Ram Truck unveiled the new Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition in Texas earlier this week.
The launch was held together with the unveiling of the Ram Heavy Duty Big Horn and Laramie Night Editions but our attention was all on the Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition just because of its super badass look.
Ram Truck stated that the newest 1500 variant offer more comfort, technology, and refinement than ever before. According to Reid Bigland, Head of Ram Brand, “Ram is always looking for ways to create more comfort and refinement for our customers. The new Limited Black Edition is another example of how we deliver the most luxurious pickups in the industry.”
How cool is the 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition? Well, it comes with black accents all over the truck which includes R-A-M letters, badging, tow hooks, exhaust, premium LED headlamps, grille surround, bumpers, door handles and side-view mirrors.
The Limited Black Edition also includes 22-inch black wheels, tonneau cover, sport performance hood, and best of all, three huge engine options; 3.0-liter V-6 EcoDiesel, 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 and 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with eTorque. We of course would love to hear what the HEMI V8 sounds like in this bad boy, which produces close to 400hp and over 550Nm of torque.
If you happen to be in the US, you can get the new 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition starting at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $53,690 (around RM225,020). There are also tonnes of Mopar accessories to further elevate your truck’s performance and looks.
