The folks from the Petersen Automotive Museum will be auctioning off the last public allocations for the new Ford GT in the name of charity. This is indeed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as the winning bidder gets to choose any available specification or trim which also includes the rear Heritage Edition and Carbon Series!
For the new Ford GT, only 1,350 allocations are given for the public to own this very rare supercar but what makes this auction from the Petersen Automotive Museum extra special is that the winning bidder can actually get his hands on the already sold out Heritage Edition (if he or she wishes to have it in that specification and trim).
According to Petersen Automotive Museum Executive Director Terry L. Karges, “As our biggest fundraiser of the year, the evening promises to be an exciting night for all. We’re grateful for Ford’s contribution to this year’s gala. The winning bidder will enjoy this extremely rare opportunity as well as make a significant impact on our community.”
Bidding will take place on 5 October 2019 between at 8.30pm in Los Angeles, CA. All specifications will be made available for the winning bidder, who may choose between the 2020, ’21 or ’22 model year. The car will be delivered in the corresponding model year. The allocation is solely for the winning bidder and may not be transferred. Winning bidder must meet eligibility requirements determined by Ford, at its sole and absolute discretion, to obtain the Ford GT allocation.
