This road-legal monster machine is essentially a combination of Pagani’s take on fine art on wheels together with their state-of-the-art performance capabilities. The result is a car that will stays timeless through the tests of time and power figures that more than enough to get send anyone into an excitement frenzy.
Derived form Pagani Automobili’s track experience, this is a hypercar that is meant to be enjoyed by lucky owners in its purest form without being overwhelmed by all the power it possesses. In fact, Pagani stated that it’s actually easy to drive just a couple of miles driving even with the top down.
Pagani is known for its superior aerodynamics and the Huayra Roadster BC is no exception. Don’t let the ‘Roadster’ name fool you as it is packed with advanced composite material that makes for ultimate design, driving technology and superior engineering prowess few companies in the world actually possess.
Weighing in at just 1,250kg, this is one of the lightest hypercars in its class. Paired that with a new 6.0-litre Pagani V12 twin-turbocharged engine bespokely made for Pagani by the folks from Mercedes AMG matted to an Xtrac transverse seven-speed sequential gearbox, this pretty little lady packs in quite a punch with over 800hp and 1,050Nm maximum torque.
The lightness is mainly contributed by Pagani’s expertise in the use of composite technologies, carbon fibre, and carbon titanium in developing the Huayra’s chassis. According to Francesco Perini, Head of Concept & Composite Design, “Through intense scientific research for developing the Carbo-Triax HP62 and Carbon-Titanium HP62 G2 formulas, we succeeded in achieving some extraordinary results that allowed us to reduce the weight of the vehicle considerably and optimise mechanical features.”
Hitting 280km/h is nothing for the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC and those who dare to push it to that said speed is said will be in total control as its advanced aerodynamics system keeps it glued to the road with more that 500kg weighing it down thanks to all the wind its taking advantage of.
Hand built to perfection, the Huayra Roadster BC offers ultra-enjoyable driving nirvana when cruising down the open roads but turns into a track-carving beast when entering any circuit around the globe. Even its new titanium six-exhaust pipe system helps to generate more downforce by exploiting the blown diffuser principle.
