The new electric scooter by Hyundai now boasts a rear-wheel-drive system equipped with an updated 10.5 Ah lithium battery that not only helps to clock in a fair amount of riding distance but also power its very stylish front and rear lights for added safety.
Hyundai’s latest concept is targeted for the first and last mile of mobility by integrating the scooter with future Hyundai and Kia models. Every time the scooter is returned to its docking position in the vehicle, it will be automatically charged while the car is being driven.
This ensures that every time you want to take it out for a spin, it’s always fully charged and ready to go. Apart from all the new features, the new Hyundai electric scooter also has added suspension for the front wheel for smoother rides in and around town. Top speed? 20km/h. Nice.
According to DongJin Hyun, head of Hyundai Motor Group Robotics Team, “This is the vehicle-mounted personal scooter which could be featured in future Hyundai Motor Group vehicles. We want to make our customers’ lives as easy and enjoyable as possible. Our personal electric scooter makes first- and last-mile commuting a joy, while helping to reduce congestion and emissions in city centers.”
Anyone wants to see this concept go into production? We would! No more searching for parking that are closest to the entrance. In fact, this new scooter will probably get people to park further so that they can enjoy the scooter more!
