The latest addition to the Audi range available here in Malaysia has arrived in the form of the new Audi A7 Sportback. Representing the brand’s new design language, the A7 Sportback is a four-door coupe injected with a huge dose of luxury, sporty driving experience, and versatile space concept.

The exterior look of the new Audi A7 Sportback portrays a car that is not only athletic but also dynamic and progressive in nature. The front is fitted with a wide and low Singleframe grille inspired by the Gran Turismo and the model available here in Malaysia features the HID Matrix Headlights as standard.

Its long sweeping lines from front to back is further emphasised with a set of 20-inch wheels where the look completes at the rear, resembling a yacht. Going at 120km/h, its integrated spoiler pops up to offer more aerodynamic stability in which it blends perfectly with the rear taillights made up of 13 vertical segments.

The Audi A7 Sportback available here in Malaysia also features the very sporty S line exterior package as standard for a sportier look with the additions of modifications to the radiator grille and the front air inlets, the sills and the front and rear diffusers finished in the very sexy gloss black.

As for firepower, this beauty comes ready with a new 35hp 3.0-litre TFSI engine with 500Nm torque that features a mild hybrid system (MHEV) for ‘greater comfort and efficiency’. Featuring a belt alternator starter (BAS), the four-door coupe can coast in freewheeling mode with the engine deactivated and then restarted comfortably at speeds between 55-160km/h.

Step inside the cabin and you are welcomed with a very futuristic yet clean interior and atmosphere. Loads of horizontal lines blends seamlessly with the sleek instrument panel that provide a bigger sense of space for all occupants. The centre console is oriented toward the driver, underscoring the Gran Turismo’s sporty character.

Finished in Valcona leather as standard, the upholstery materials and inlays present a nice signature balance of Audi with other features likes its 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit with MMI navigations plus, black panel optics, and two large high-resolution displays used to control the car’s infotainment and climate control.
