Together with the official Malaysian debut of the first-ever BMW X7, BMW Malaysia also took the opportunity to launch the new BMW 7 Series, the 2019 BMW 740Le xDrive. Available in the Pure Excellence variant, this promises nothing but luxurious driving experience in the premium sedan segment.

Having a look around, the new BMW 7 Series is distinctive in its presence while offering state-of-the-art equipment that makes sure that your driving pleasure is as dynamic as premiumly possible. Under the hood lies the BMW 3.0-litre six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo with eDrive that punches out a whopping 394hp and 600Nm of torque.
Paired together with BMW’s latest PHEV system, the new BMW 7 Series is able to travel in pure electric up to 46km/h with a top speed of 140km/h without even using the internal combustion powerplant.
The Pure Excellence exterior design is again all about the high-societal luxury. Upfront lies a large kidney grille with active shutters is complemented by a larger BMW roundel together with the front apron no longer includes the fog lights, the new, particularly slim and elongated headlights with laser light technology.
Set with a long wheelbase together with sculpted bold lines throughout the sides, it portrays nothing but the best form of automobile luxury BMW has produced yet. The New BMW 7 Series also features 19″ light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 630 Bicolour with mixed tyres.
The rear represents a very distinctive look as well, especially with its new LED taillights that are 35 mm slimmer, are joined by a 6mm-wide light strip – illuminating the vehicle throughout the day. Special taillight animation sequence can be seen every time the car is locked and unlocked.
The New BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence sets a new benchmark in riding comfort and driving experience, thanks to the advanced chassis design. It incorporates an intelligent mix of aluminium, high-strength steel and a body structure benefiting from magnesium and carbon reinforcements (Carbon Core).
Step inside the vehicle and you’ll quickly notice how intricate everything was designed to meet the expectation of BMW customers across the globe. The Poplar Grain Grey fine-wood trim blends exceptionally well with its fine leather finish, Nappa leather upholstery, stylish sports steering wheel, and futuristic instrument panel.
The electrically adjustable comfort seats also feature a massage function for passengers in the rear. For added enjoyment, a Panoramic glass roof Sky Lounge gives passengers a peek above the vehicle. Automatic four-zone control air-conditioning is also available, along with roller sun blinds and the rear-seat Entertainment Experience. Music can be enjoyed via the 16-Speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound System.
