The good folks from the Naza Group has generously contributed one unit of their very popular Kia Cerato to the Skills Training Institute of Youth and Sports (ILKBS) in support of Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) and Malaysian contestant, Mohamad Ridzuan.
Why? The young and very talented Mohamad Ridzuan will be taking part at the WorldSkills Competition 2019 (WSC 2019) in the Car Painting category. And what better way to prepare and get used to the competition than a Kia Cerato as his blank canvas to practise and sharpen his art skills ahead of the competition.
According to SM Nasaruddin SM Nasimuddin, Group Executive Chairman & Group CEO, Naza Corporation Holdings, “The Naza Group is a progressive company promoting sustainable development and growth and part of our core values is providing a platform for youths to achieve their dreams. With that, we are pleased to be a part of IKLBS’ preparation for the WSC 2019. We wish Mohamad Ridzuan the best of luck for the competition and we are proud of him for representing our country on the international stage.”
The Kia Cerato will be used for Mohamad Ridzuan’s training and preparation for the WSC 2019 held at Kazan, Russia from 16th to 27th August 2019. 60 countries, also members of WorldSkills International (WSI) will be competing at the WSC this year.
