How do you make the best vehicle promo video ever? What about teaming up with one of the greatest pop cultures of all time? We’re talking about the latest Audi promo video where they’ve team up with Sony Pictures and one very iconic Marvel Cinematic Universe’s superhero, Spider-Man!
Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a very exclusive digital content to promote their latest and upcoming huge blockbuster film, “Spider-Man: Far From Home”. Titled “Science Fair”, our friendly-neighbourhood superhero aka Peter Parker showed to his school science fair in the all-electric Audi e-tron GT Concept.
Almost all MCU fans know about the involvement of Audi in many of their major blockbusters which started from the very beginning with the Iron Man starring none other than the iconic Robert Downey Jr. Naturally, the Audi product placement has been transferred over to Spider-Man and we’re loving every bit of it.
According to Sven Schuwirth, Head of Brand Audi, Digital Business and Customer Experience at AUDI AG, “Teaming up with Sony Studios gives us an ideal opportunity to stage Audi´s electric offensive in a spectacular environment and to customize this important technology for a highly engaged Audience. Therefore, product placement plays a significant role in our new brand strategy.”
The Audi e-tron GT has been confirmed to enter production by 2020 and officially delivered to customers by 2021. The one requested by Peter Parker in the short film is probably a huge step in the advancement as he discreetly requested the ‘2025’ from what we assume is an agent of SHIELD.
Whatever the case may be, we love Audi and we certainly love Spider-Man and we can’t wait to see its involvement in the upcoming MCU movie which is set to hit the cinemas here in Malaysia early next month. Go Audi!
