- BMW 840i xDrive Gran Coupe (340 hp 3.0L six-cylinder in-line petrol engine)
- BMW 840d xDrive Gran Coupe (320 hp 3.0L six-cylinder in-line diesel unit)
All its power is controlled using an eight-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission and BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system (except for the BMW 840i Gran Coupe which is rear-wheel drive).
The exterior design features BMW’s latest design language which comes with stunning lines and wide surfaces to match. Proportionally sculpted to further enhance the car’s alluring façade and overall presence, the latest 8 Series Gran Coupe is all about head-turning style.
Step into the cockpit and you’ll quickly find yourselves seating in sport seats wrapped in the luscious Vernasca leather as standard. Other readily available goodies include shift paddles on the steering wheel, ambient lighting, and full leather trim for the instrument panel and door shoulders.
There are also the BMW Display Key, telephony with wireless charging, BMW Head-Up Display and BMW Live Cockpit Professional with navigation system, fully digital instrument cluster and 10.25-inch Control Display which further elevates your entire BMW driving experience to a whole new level.
Those who prefer sitting at the back seats will also come to realise how ‘special’ the 8 Series Gran Coupe can make you feel. Driving a car this grand requires some serious safety features and knowing how the engineers work at BMW, the new BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe is no exception. The list includes High Beam Assistant, Driving Assistant comprising Collision and Pedestrian Warning with City Braking function, Lane Change Warning and Lane Departure Warning, Speed Limit Info, rear crossing traffic warning and rear collision warning, plus Parking Assistant including reversing assistant all fitted as standard.
