Toyo Tires Malaysia has officially launched their latest Toyo Proxes TR1 tyre here at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) earlier today. Those who are looking for the perfect rubber to rip around the circuit while providing excellent dry and wet grip on the open road will indeed appreciate what the new TR1 has to offer.

Available in 24 different sizes for wheel between 15 to 19 inches, the TR1 model is priced between RM199 up to RM800 per piece and that is quite a bargain for a sports-oriented tyre. When it comes to fun-to-drive experience, it’s hard to deny that Toyo Tires do provide this in abundance.
The latest Sport Ultra performance series comes with a new aggressive design inspired by the previous generation ultra-performing T1R series. Long slant grooves and open lateral slits provide high-level water drainage capabilities as well as excellent grip and cornering stability.
Constructed using Super Active Polymers with high silica content, the TR1 has lower rolling resistance and better wet performance which also provides excellent all-round stability thanks to its spiral-wound cap ply construction.
With the addition of high-tensile belts and super hard bead fillers, rest assured that the TR1 does not compromise anything when it comes to handling, grip, and stability (16% better compared to the T1R).
