Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) recently concluded their annual Volkswagen Dealer Awards 2018 at the prestigious Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel. The awards were presented by Erik Winter and Florian Steiner, Managing Directors of VPCM, and Deenan Nadar, Aftersales Director of VPCM.

The awards were held to celebrate all the major talents in their present network in the country who have successfully delivered masterclass performances throughout 2018. From top performing dealers to talented individuals, this is where they reap their rewards from all the hard work.

All in all, 25 dealers from the Volkswagen network across the country attended the ceremony where multiple awards were presented in various categories which are Dealership Award, Overall Top Achievers, and the National Finals 2018/2019 Volkswagen Retail Qualification World Championship (RQWC).

For the Dealership Awards 2018, four awards were handed out to the best 3S and 4S dealers in terms of sales, marketing, aftersales, customer satisfaction, dealer standards compliance and manpower qualification. The recipients are:

• Best Overall Dealer for 2018 – MHV Autohaus (Volkswagen Gombak)
• Category A – 4S centres: Wearnes Automotive
• Category B – dealers within Klang Valley: MHV Autohaus
• Category C – dealers out of Klang Valley: Lee Motors Autohaus

As for best Overall Top Achievers for 2018, individuals in the entire network were monitored and judged based on the performances according to their roles in the business. The criteria include sales and aftersales targets, customer satisfaction, adherence to processes and procedures and attaining required training and qualifications.

The six individual Overall Top Achievers were:

• Best Sales Manager – James Leong (MHV Autohaus)
• Best Sales Consultant – Yan Mun Ee (Goh Brothers, Ipoh)
• Best Aftersales Manager – William Loh (MHV Autohaus)
• Best Parts Manager – John Leow (MHV Autohaus)
• Best Service Advisor – Azrul Muzakhair (Wearnes Sg Besi)
• Best Technician – Husni Thamrin (Lee Motors, Alor Setar)

Also present at the ceremony to receive their trophies were the winners of the National Finals 2018/2019 Volkswagen Retail Qualification World Championship (RQWC) and they are:

• Service Advisor category – Lu Weng Jen (MHV Autohaus)
• Parts Services category – John Leow Zhi Kuan (MHV Autohaus)
• Master Technician category – Yeoh Chun Ping (Goh Brother Motors)
