When It comes to being one of Malaysia’s most sophisticated and versatile compact premium automotive brands, MINI is indeed right there on top of the list and the launch of their latest 2019 MINI Countryman Plug-In Hybrid Wired and Cooper S Countryman Pure proved that very fact.

2019 MINI Countryman Plug-In Hybrid Wired – RM268,888

Electrify your journeys with the new hybrid Countryman Hybrid Wired which comes prepared with a TwinPower Turbo petrol-powered engine paired with an electric motor. This particular MINI is able to produce a whopping 224hp and 385Nm of maximum torque.

All that power is controlled via a 6-speed automatic transmission which allows it to propel from 0-100km/h in just 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 198km/h. that’s not bad at all considering that it only uses 2.1 liters of fuel for every 100km.

So what else do you get with that added Wired package which costs RM18,000? Apart from its already beautiful ALL4 Design, this baby has been kitted with new 19-inch edged spoke rims and run flat tyres.

To further enhanced the car’s rugged personality, MINI Bonnet stripes, contrasting roof colours in black or white, as well as its hexagonal grille are added to further accentuate all its features.

If you’re looking for something more rugged, then the MINI Cooper S Countryman Pure should be highly-considered as it comes with the iconic bonnet stripes, black roof, LED headlights with cornering lights, and that super sleek 18-inch Black Pin spoke rims.

The inside looks just as tough with its Carbon Black upholstery in the sporty Leather Cross Punch design which goes hand in hand with its very comfortable and stylish electric seats. There’s also the 6.5-inch Touch Screen Display with Navigation that further enhanced the vehicle’s overall versatility.

Armed with the TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine, the Countryman Pure is able to reach a top speed of 224km/h and sprint from 0-100km/h in just 7.4 seconds. That is all possible thanks to 192hp and 280Nm of torque being controlled with an 8-speed automatic transmission while only consuming 6.5 litres of fuel every 100km.
